Who we are
XGen Cleaning is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
Your name, email, phone number, address, property details, access notes, booking history and photographs taken during cleans for your Proof Report. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
Why we use it
To provide and manage your bookings (contract), to send service emails and reports (contract), to improve our service (legitimate interests), and for analytics only where you have consented.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for six years for accounting purposes. Proof Report photos are kept for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Who we share it with
Our cleaners (only what they need for your job), payment, email and hosting providers acting as processors. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
